What is Study Dog?
Study Dog is your studying companion. Study Politics used to operate on its own and support A Level Politics students with their learning and revision. As more subjects joined the family, the need to shift our branding became clear.
Study Dog encompasses a range of subjects in the same way Study Politics supported A Level Politics students. You’ll find the same resources and experiences provided by Study Politics, with a fresh design and some new and exciting features, with the aim of enhancing your revision.

What happens to my Study Politics membership?
All current Study Politics members have had their memberships migrated. Study Politics is now closed to new members, and all new sign-ups should go through Study Dog.
You can access all of the same resources you used to access on Study Politics, along with additional content and functionality, on Study Dog. In fact, the new monthly price is lower on Study Dog, so you can revise for your A levels at a greater value.
The team are on hand to answer any questions about the migration. You can get in touch with us here. All personal data on Study Politics will be deleted after 90 days of your membership expiring in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
What about Free A Level Politics Resources?
Our Free A Level Politics Resources are still available for all students. They are written to help extend your knowledge and allow you to unlock higher grades. Combining revision techniques together is the best way to unlock higher grades at A Level Politics, so we have developed a range of learning resources to help with your content knowledge and exam technique.
They are made for the current AQA and Edexcel specifications, and are made to the highest quality.
Study Politics' Story
Study Politics was founded in March 2020 by Leo Carr, a student who was disillusioned by a lack of online learning resources for A Level Politics. When the pandemic hit, he started to create a collection of revision resources for A Level Politics students.
Working with the University of Exeter, he created the Study Politics platform that grew to be loved by thousands of students around the world. Study Dog became the parent company of Study Politics in November 2023, and the sister platform Study Geography was launched in September 2024.
With additional subjects joining the family, the time has come to rebrand and shift focus to supporting students of all subjects with their A Levels. Study Politics proudly becomes Politics by Study Dog to reflect this.
