What is Study Dog?
Study Dog is your studying companion. As the parent company of Study Geography, the platform used to operate on its own and support A Level Geography students with their learning and revision. As more subjects joined the family, the need to shift our branding became clear.
Study Dog encompasses a range of subjects in the same way Study Geography used to support A Level Geography students. You’ll find the same resources and experiences provided by Study Geography, with a fresh design and some new and exciting features.

What happens to my Study Geography membership?
All Study Geography members have been migrated to the new Study Dog platform. You will have received communication from our team.
All current Study Geography memberships will not renew automatically, so we’ll be in touch shortly before your renewal is due with instructions on how to renew your membership with our new system.

Our Free A Level Geography Resources are still available for all students. They are written to help extend your knowledge and allow you to unlock higher grades. Combining revision techniques together is the best way to unlock higher grades at A Level Geography, so we have developed a range of learning resources to help with your content knowledge and exam technique.
They are made for the current AQA specification, and are made to the highest quality.
Study Geography's Story
Study Geography’s sister platform, Study Politics was founded in March 2020 by Leo Carr, a student who was disillusioned by a lack of online learning resources for A Level Politics. When the pandemic hit, he started to create a collection of revision resources for A Level Politics students.
Working with the University of Exeter, he created the Study Politics platform that grew to be loved by thousands of students around the world. Study Dog became the parent company of Study Politics in November 2023, Study Geography joined the family in September 2024.
With additional subjects joining the family, the time has come to rebrand and shift focus to supporting students of all subjects with their A Levels. Study Geography proudly becomes Geography by Study Dog to reflect this.
