Study Dog has been on a mission to keep you engaged with your revision since we first started back in 2020. Our latest set of features is here to keep you coming back for more. From achievements to leaderboard and individual reports, we’ve been working hard to ensure you stay on track with your revision.
Achievements
You’ll notice that your profile has been given an update with some new features. You’ll find a point tally, which updates with your activity on the platform. You’ll earn extra points whenever you:
- Complete a lesson
- Complete a quiz
- Get 100% in a quiz
- Complete an entire course
Your aim is to fill up the progress bar with your revision, so that you cover as much of our courses in your subject as possible. You can even try to set yourself goals of how many points to achieve each week.
You’ll also notice some badges appear as you complete these goals. Keep track of your badges, and try to fill up your profile with as many as you can.

Leaderboard
If your school subscribes to Study Dog, you’ll be able to see a new ‘My Leaderboard’ tab in your dashboard. This lets you see how many points you have compared to your classmates. Try your best to complete some additional revision to outpace them!
Studies have shown a link between competition and assessment outcomes, with students who engage in competitive activities on average achieving higher grades than those who don’t. Therefore, getting involved in these challenges could lead you to better A-level grades!

Individual Reports
You’ll also notice a new tab in your dashboard called ‘My Reports’, with some outlines about how you have been progressing with Study Dog since you joined us. You can see your course progress, overall lesson completion and other useful insights into your learning.
These reports are great at seeing where the gaps in your knowledge are at a glance. Make sure to keep checking back on your reports to try and close the gaps in your revision.
