What is Study Dog?
Study Dog is your studying companion. As the parent company of Study Politics, the platform used to operate on its own and support A Level Politics students with their learning and revision. As more subjects joined the family, the need to shift our branding became clear.
Study Dog encompasses a range of subjects in the same way Study Politics used to support A Level Politics students. You’ll find the same resources and experiences provided by Study Politics, with a fresh design and some new and exciting features with the aim of enhancing your revision.

What happens to my Study Politics membership?
All current Study Politics members will have their memberships migrated over the coming months. Study Politics is now closed to new members, and all new sign-ups should go through Study Dog.
We are utilising a brand new membership system, so the migration may take some time. You will be able to continue to access the Study Politics platform whilst we complete this migration in order to minimise any impacts on your revision.
All current Study Politics memberships will not renew automatically, so we’ll be in touch shortly before your renewal is due with instructions on how to renew your membership with our new system. You can continue to use Study Politics until your membership expires.

What about Free A Level Politics Resources?
Our Free A Level Politics Resources are still available for all students. They are written to help extend your knowledge and allow you to unlock higher grades. Combining revision techniques together is the best way to unlock higher grades at A Level Politics, so we have developed a range of learning resources to help with your content knowledge and exam technique.
They are made for the current AQA (7152) and Edexcel (9PL0) specifications, and are made to the highest quality.
Study Politics' Story
Study Politics was founded in March 2020 by Leo Carr, a student who was disillusioned by a lack of online learning resources for A Level Politics. When the pandemic hit, he started to create a collection of revision resources for A Level Politics students.
Working with the University of Exeter, he created the Study Politics platform that grew to be loved by thousands of students around the world. Study Dog became the parent company of Study Politics in November 2023, and the sister platform Study Geography was launched in September 2024.
With additional subjects joining the family, the time has come to rebrand and shift focus to supporting students of all subjects with their A Levels. Study Politics proudly becomes Politics by Study Dog to reflect this.
